Mixed media/shadow box layout

So, this month I am playing along with a few blog challenges. I have made a 12×12 layout using 7 Dots Studios “Destination Unknown” paper and embellishments. Background is made up of gesso, modeling paste, acrylic paints and distress ink. I decided to frame the photo of my son with a shadowbox instead of just a regular 2d frame. I added some chipboard elements from UmWow and Creative Embellishments. The title says it all, “remember everyday”, because you will blink and the time has flown by.

I am playing along with the 7 Dots Studio challenge here and also submitting this to the Mirror Crack’d challenge here. Also playing along with Crafty Card Makers and more here. Check them out and play along too!!
